The so-called "Liuzhou dialect" and "Kunming dialect" in this paper refer to the Chinese dialects which are used in Liuzhou City and Kunming City respectively. They belong to Southwest Mandarin. This paper takes the phonetics of Liuzhou dialect and Kunming dialect as the research object, and on the basis of previous studies, combines the relevant theories of traditional dialectology, experimental phonetics and sociolinguistics to make a more comprehensive and in-depth exploration. The full text is divided into five parts:The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly introduces the background knowledge, research methods and pronunciation information of the paper.Chapter 2 to Chapter 4 is the focus of this paper, and a more comprehensive model of dialect pronunciation research is constructed.Chapter 2 and Chapter 3,according to the typical model of traditional phonetics research, make a comparative description of the two dialects from three aspects: initial, vowel and tone, and reveal the phonetic characteristics of the two dialects from the static and synchronic levels.Chapter 4 is about the analysis and discussion of some phonetic variation phenomena found by the author in the investigation,,combining with the relevant sociolinguistic theory of language contact, taking the three photographs of ancient Jingzhi Zhuangzhang Group, ancient Japanese mother and ancient crab Zhizhen as examples, thus adding the part of "variation and evolution" to the traditional research model. In this way,the combination of traditional phonetic description, historical comparison and phonetic variation and evolution makes the phonetic research more comprehensive, and provides a reference for future scholars and the study of phonetic history.Chapter 5 is the conclusion, which summarizes the research of the full text.
