Negative physical self usually refers to the individual's negative cognitive and emotional experience of the self and the corresponding behavioral regulation. Most foreign literature refers to it as a body image disturbance.Numerous studies have shown that contemporary women are more likely to have negative physical self and lower physical satisfaction, especially in their own body and appearance, attentional bias toward specific information may be one of the factors that negative body self-generation and maintenance. At present, there are still some disputes about the mechanism of the negative body self-individuals' attentional bias to the body information, and the attentional bias components measured in different time processes(facilitated attention, attentional avoidance and difficulty in disengagement)are also not consistent, and their related brains There are relatively few studies on mechanisms. In this study, compared with the normal female college students with low-fat negative physical self, study attentional bias toward body information among the female college students with high-fat negative physical, and combine behavioral experiments with functional Near Infrared Spectrum(fNIRS)technology to study attentional bias toward body picture among the female college students with high-fat negative physical in different time course characteristics and main components,as well as compared with the normal female college students with low-fat negative physical self, female college students with high-fat negative physical self have differences in blood oxygenation and brain activation during cerebral cortex when paying attention to body picture.Sixty female college students were used as experimental subjects, including 30 experimental groups(female college students with high-fat negative physical self)and a control group(normal female college students with low-fat negative physical self).Experiment 1 uses the body image as the Dot-probe Paradigm of the stimulating material.By controlling the stimulus presentation time(200ms,500ms),Exploring the characteristics and main components of the female college student with high-fat negative physical self show attentional bias to body picture(fat pictures and thin pictures)in different stimulus presentation time.Experiment 2 combines behavioral and fNIRS technology to investigate the attentional bias of female college students with negative body self toward body pictures(fatness pictures and thinness pictures)when the stimulus presentation time is 1000 ms,and the relevant brain regions that are activated when attention is biased.Behavioral experiment results show that when the stimulus presentation time is 200 ms,the female college students with high-fat negative physical self have facilitated attention to the fatness picture;when the stimulus presentation time is 500 ms,only at all the experimental subjects levels is found difficulty in disengagement to fatness pictures;when the stimulus presentation time is 1000 ms,the female college students with high-fat negative physical self who observe have difficulty in disengagement to fatness pictures. From the results of fNIRS,under the condition that the detection point is consistent with the body picture, the female college students with high-fat negative physical self is significantly more blood oxygen active in the orbital frontal cortex(channels 13,19)when watching fatness pictures than the thin and neutral picture, while the normal female college students with low-fat negative physical self are not significantly different at this time;while the detection point is inconsistent with the body picture, the normal female college student with low-fat negative physical self is significantly more blood oxygen active in the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex(channels10,15,17)than the female college student with high-fat negative physical self, and the normal female college student with low-fat negative physical self in the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex while watching the fatness picture, the blood oxygenation activation is significantly greater than the activation of blood oxygen when watching neutral picture. Therefore,In summary: the female college student with high-fat negative physical self show a vigilance-maintenance attentional bias pattern toward the fatness picture, that is,female college students with high-fat negative physical self have facilitated attention to fatness pictures in the early stage of cognitive processing,at the same time, the female college student with high-fat negative physical self whose the orbital frontal cortex(OFC)of the brain area is activated. The activation of the brain area may help it detect the location of the fatness picture earlier and generate attention. However, the female college student with high-fat negative physical self have difficulty in disengagement to the fatness picture in the late stage of cognitive processing. At this time, the activation level of the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex(DLPFC)of the related brain regions of female college students with high-fat negative physical self is decreased. It makes it impossible to control the rapiddetachment from the fatness picture in the late stage of cognitive processing,so it is difficulty in disengagement.
