Tibetan translation has a long history and fruitful results.In the 7th century,Thon mi Sambotra created the Tibetan genre and for the first time translated the Buddhist scriptures of ancient India into the original translation of the Vatican.Due to this accomplishment,the Buddhist translation of the Tibetan Kingdom continued to flourish.It not only absorbed the essence of the ancient civilization of India,but also brought in other remarkable achievements.This achievement made it possible for the cultural thought of tolerance of the Tibetan Dynasty to be known.The translation of the Tibetan Dynasty has indispensable cultural and social significance in terms of quantity and quality.In the 13th century AD,Sakya Bandrita kun dga rkyal mthsan created the discipline classification of sciences.During this period,Tibetan linguistics,poetics and astronomy had unprecedented development.In 1280,Shong ston rdo rje rgal mthsan participated in the translation of the Buddhist scripture?Nakananda?by the harsavarhana a at the Sakya Monastery.This became the first Tibetan translation of drama literature.In the post-translation career development process,many translations of world drama literature became an important part of Tibetan translation literature.It has had a specific influence on the creation and development of Tibetan literature.This dissertation begins with a brief discussion of the origin of drama and the history of the development of dramatic art,the definition,characteristics and classification of dramatic literature.Secondly,according to the development law of Tibetan translation history,the Tibetan translation of drama literature is divided into three major contents,namely,Tibetan translation of classical Sanskrit,Tibetan translation of Shakespeare plays and Tibetan translation of Western modernist drama.Finally,it analyzes and summarizes its content and artistic characteristics and the acceptance of the translation.The structure of the article is divided into four chapters in addition to the preface and conclusion.The first chapter mainly discusses the origin and translation of secular culture,especially traditional poetry in Tibetan areas.It also and clarifies the origin and development process of Tibetan translation drama literature.It is seen as the evolution of a cultural trend.The second chapter discusses the structure of the article,theme and artistic features according to the characteristics of Tibetan translation drama literature.The third chapter analyzes and summarizes the acceptance of some drama translation works in Tibetan translation history and culture,namely influencing the Tibetan translation drama literature.The fourth chapter compares different Tibetan translations of the Indian classical drama?shakuntala?and summarizes the translation styles presented by Tibetan translators.
