Study Of Dance Forms In Mengzi’s Custom Of "Sacrificing Dragons"

Hand-dance and three-step dance are two forms of traditional "dragon worship" customs of the yi people in mengzi mountain area.They are mainly popular in the mji and pula branches of the yi people in mengzi mountain area.They are the most important dance activities of the yi people and an important part of the dragon worship customs.The traditional hand-dance and three-step dance are mainly used to communicate with and entertain the gods,and they are also tools to gather the strength of the yi people and enhance their sense of national identity.Since entering the contemporary society,people’s concept of behavior has undergone great changes along with the changes of production relations and life styles.The transformation of dance form actually reflects the transformation from the internal structure to the external form.As the traditional folk dances of yi nationality,the dance of hand-dance and three-step dance reflects the situation and circumstance that the folk dances of the nationality encounter in the contemporary society.In mengzi yi "the dragon" customs of the two kind of palm dance dance form,three-step string as the research object,using the folklore,dance,dance ecology morphology for methodology,through the history of dance form and contemporary form were analyzed,and the palm dance is emphatically discussed,three strings form conversion performance and form significance,analysis of national dance how to adapt to the contemporary society,how to inheritance protection.The structure of the thesis can be divided into four parts.The first part mainly discusses the background knowledge of the dance in the custom of "offering sacrifices to the dragon" of the mengzi yi nationality.This paper analyzes the cultural characteristics of the custom of "offering sacrifices to the dragon" of the mengzi yi nationality,and investigates the natural ecology and human ecology that the hand-dance and three-step dance depend on by using the theories and methods of dance ecology.The second part,based on historical literature,field data and dance morphology theory,analyzes the development process of the historical form of the hand-dance and three-step string,and analyzes the morphological characteristics of the hand-dance and three-step string.The third part,combining the existing status of the hand-dance and three-step string,makes a comprehensive analysis of the contemporary shape of the hand-dance and three-step string and the influencing factors of the shape transformation from two aspects of space and function.Finally,according to the above analysis,based on the contemporary,from the survival,development and protection of three aspects to understand the significance of folk dance from traditional to contemporary dance form transformation.
