Analysis Of The Artistic Characteristics Of The Chinese Opera Long March And Take The Section At A Cold Night From Commissar Peng As An Example

In 2016,in honor of the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army's Long March,the National Grand Theatre invited TianQinxin,YinQing,ZouJingzhi and other domestic first-class artists as a team to create an epic opera " the Long March".The opera was a great success once it was staged.In this opera,classic songs such as"We would finally win"," At the Cold Night"," Blossoming peach on March in the army" were widely circulated.The opera adopts realism and linear narrative in successfully reproducing the glorious history of the Red Army's fighting and struggling hard In the Long March.It's highly speaks of the Red Army's determined revolutionary faith and tenacious spirt of perseverance and courage.It has a high value of artistic research and practical signifidcance.This paper includes three chapters.Chapter one gives a brief introduction on" the Long March" such as overview,background,process and artistic feature,etc.Chapter two makes the key part of this paper.It takes" At the Cold Night" sung by the main male character political commissar Peng as example and make comprehensive analyze from aspects of music feature,character-image formation and singing process,combining with anthor's personal artistic practice.Chapter three briefly discusses the artistic value and writing significance of the opera through research and analysis.Through the study of this opera,we can further understand the creative direction and artistic characteristics of Chinese opera,and grasp how to shape heroic roles and interpret military themes,so as to experience the power of drama in music.
