Multisensory integration refers to the effective integration of individuals into a unified, coherent and meaningful perception process when information from different sensory channels is presented at the same time.It includes endogenous attention and exogenous attention.Endogenous attention refers to the individual's allocation of attentional dominance according to his own goals or intentions.Exogenous attention refers to the attention caused by the external information of the individual. This study examines the effects of internal and external attention on multisensory integration through three experiments, mainly regulating the type of target stimulus(visual, auditory, visual and auditory),clue type(effective clues, invalid clues, neutral clues). How to better receive the knowledge transmitted in multimedia form provides a theoretical basis.Among them, the effective clue means that the clue pointing or presenting position is consistent with the subsequent target stimulation position, and the invalid clue means that the clue pointing or presenting position is inconsistent with the subsequent target stimulation position, and the neutral clue refers to the clue pointing or presenting position and subsequent The target stimulus position that appears is irrelevant.Experiment 1a uses the "endogenous cues-target stimulation paradigm" to examine the effects of endogenous attention on multisensory integration.Experiment lb uses the"exogenous clue-target stimulation paradigm" to examine the effects of exogenous attention on multisensory integration.Experiment 2 used" endogenous cues-exogenous cues-target stimulation paradigm" to examine the impact of endogenous and exogenous attention on multisensory integration, where the predicted proportion of endogenous cues to the location of target stimuli was 80%.Experiment 3 adjusted the predicted proportion of endogenous cues on the basis of Experiment 2,that is,the predicted ratio of endogenous cues to the location of target stimuli was 50%.It was found that in Experiment 1a,the difference in the integration between the effective conditions and the ineffective conditions of the endogenous cues was not significant;in Experiment lb,the difference in the integration between the effective conditions and the ineffective conditions of the exogenous cues was not significant. In Experiment 2,the influence of endogenous and exogenous attention on the multisensory integration has an interaction, that is,under the effective conditions of endogenous clues, the integration of the effective conditions of the exogenous clues is significantly smaller than the integration of the ineffective conditions;Under the condition that the clue is invalid, there is no significant difference in the integration of the effective condition and the invalid condition of the exogenous clue.In Experiment 3,the prediction ratio of endogenous cues was changed, the integration amount of endogenous effective cues conditions and the integration amount of invalid cues conditions were not significant;the integration amount of exogenous effective cues conditions and the integration amount of invalid cues conditions Significant difference. The above three experiments show that both the endogenous and exogenous attentions affect the regulation of multisensory integration, but under certain conditions, the two are independent of each other.
