The Study On The Bronze Mirrors Of Easter Zhou Period In SanJinLiangZhou Area

This thesis focuses on the study of the bronze mirrors of Easter Zhou period in Sanjinliangzhou area,and give priority to the unearthed materials,supplemented by the handed down materials.In this thesis,the categories of unearthed bronze mirrors are studied.According to the theme decorative patterns and craft by archaeological typology research,it can be divided into seven categories: the undecorated,the basal pattern,the flowers and leaves pattern,the 'mountain' character pattern,the birds and beasts pattern,the coiled dragons and serpents pattern,the special craftwork.Through archaeological typology research,based on the analysis of the changes of the decorative patterns,button types,button seats and edges of unearthed bronze mirrors,combined with the tombs and typical objects in this area,can divided the evolution of the unearthed bronze mirrors' processes into 4 periods in this area.The periods are:the Early and Middle spring and Autumn,the transition from the Late Spring and Autumn Period to Warring States into the Early Warring States Period,the Middle and Late Warring States Period,the end of the Warring States Period.The characteristics of each period are summarized.In addition,several problems related to stages,such as the button type,size and rim of the unearthed bronze mirror are discussed by arranging and contrasting side views of the mirrors.By researching decorative patterns of unearthed bronze mirrors,some handed down bronze mirrors are compared and analyzed,and then the style of bronze mirrors in this area is summarized.The stylistic features are: double circle layout,double circle around layout and triple circle layout;a good deal of principal patterns imitate the decorations of bronzes in this area,sometimes with unique top-view image arrangement;auxiliary patterns,such as geometric patterns,are often filled in the interior of the main patterns with a unique decorative method of filling pattern;The composition is relatively comfortable,usually with high relief,double thick lines and realistic style;it has excellent casting,exquisite technology,and a variety of special crafts such as painting techniques,packing and pasting technology,mosaic technology and openwork carving techniques.More over,this thesis researches on the conventional craft of bronze mirrors with the remains related to bronze mirrors such as pottery mould,and researches on the special craft of bronze mirrors with painting techniques,packing and pasting technology,mosaic technology and openwork carving techniques.Finally,on this basis,the research goes on to use the archaeological cultural factors analysis method to analyze the foreign cultural factors in Sanjinliangzhou area's bronze mirrors.From the perspective of bronze mirrors,exchange and interaction between Sanjinliangzhou area and source places of foreign cultural factorsis discussed.Judging from current materials,the Zhou is the most significant cultural factor in the period one;the Jin is the most significant cultural factor in the period two,and it integrates the Shang,the Zhou and the North;There are a lot of cultural factors were integrated in the period three,such as the Shang,the Zhou,the north,the Jin,the Chu,the Qin and the Mediterranean;the Qin is the most significant cultural factor in the period four.The period two and the period three are the development period and peak period respectively.In these two periods,as the most significant cultural factor of bronze mirrors in this area,the Jin is the principal,and setting the keynote.
