| Nick Yu is a dramatist who has attracted much attention in recent years.Up to now,more than 70 plays have been created.Most of them have been put on stage and have made some artistic achievements.This is due to Nick Yu's personal efforts,on the one hand,it also benefits from the promotion of a benign theatrical ecology.This paper gives a basic overview of Nick Yu's creative practice,and discusses his works from three stages: the initial stage,the exploratory stage and the mature stage.At the same time,according to the artistic features of his works,this paper analyses Nick Yu's works from four dimensions: the core design,the features of his lines,the prompts of the stage and the orientation of his thoughts.At the same time,it points out the outstanding achievements of the key works,focusing on Nick Yu's pursuit of aesthetic character,focusing on the analysis of Nick Yu's works of "watcher" and "intruder" two classical image types,select the relevant works to explain.This article divides the "watcher" into three classical images and the "intruder" into two classical images,which reflect Nick Yu's consistent artistic pursuit.The author believes that "the watcher" and "the intruder" are the two motifs of Nick Yu's creation,which are seldom pointed out at present.Therefore,this paper focuses on this and strives to make innovative discoveries.Another key point of this paper is to discuss Nick Yu's breakthrough in the field of eco-drama,that is,the creative practice and exploratory harvest of his work Lao Da.As a rare representative work of Chinese eco-drama,the author believes that the value of Lao Da has not been fully discussed and recognized.For a long time,people have focused on Nick Yu's achievements in urban youth theme,which is good,but with the growth of age and life experience,he turned his creation to a more profound and complex connotation,more ultimate theme,more interrogative topics,and completed the transition from a young playwright to a mature playwright. |
