The corpus selected in this report is an entrepreneurship interview of the New Oriental SPOC Product Department in 2017.The author conducts consecutive interpreting in English and Chinese through recording at the interpreting site. After that, the corpus and the translated language are transferred and a practical report is written.Through the analysis of translation cases, this practical report focuses on three issues that interpreters should pay attention to in consecutive interpretation of such interviews:The first is how to complete the interpretation task with quality and quantity in the process of pre-interpreting preparation; The second is how to deal with the problems and challenges in the interpreting of interviews; The third is how to apply the theory of adaptation to practice. In this interpreting practice, the interpreter found that the speaker's discourse was more concise, and used a lot of colloquial expressions in the conversation process, such as the use of a lot of colloquial ellipsis.Besides, the interviewees were two Indians who had a very strong accent of Indian English and spoke very quickly. In the process of interpreting, the interpreter paid attention to the variability and order of interpretation, and combined the linguistic and non-linguistic contexts adaption defined by the adaption theory to make the interpretation sound natural in Chinese and English. The practice of interpreting shows that interpreters need to have rational use of linguistic adaption and perseverance in order to cope with the interpreting of high intensity and difficulty. The report is expected to provide some reference for the interpreting of such interviews in the future, and help interpreters to interpret better works.
