The Research Of Emperor Huizong's Bird Painting Method Times New

Song Dynasty painting,which has been regarded as a classic by later generations,has had a far-reaching impact on the development of Chinese painting.Its rigorous law,meticulous description,subtle and extensive,have reached the highest level in philosophy and aesthetics.As the founder of the aesthetic standards of painting academy in the late Northern Song Dynasty,Emperor Huizong's handed-down works represented the highest level of the painting academy at that time.The diverse methods of bird painting in his works set a benchmark for the development of bird painting in later generations.Through inheritance and innovation of the predecessors,he created the aesthetic symbols of an era and surmounted an insurmountable peak of painting in Song Dynasty.Therefore,it is of great significance to the study of Emperor Huizong's paintings in Song Dynasty.This paper researches and analyses the techniques of bird in his painting works of flowers and birds.The analysis of the techniques of bird painting is not the focus and research direction of this paper.The reason is that technique is only the surface and direct factor in the formation of his painting style.Therefore,the focus of this paper lies in the painting techniques and artistic language adopted in the bird painting of Emperor Huizong of Song Dynasty.The birds style in his paintings are refinement and adjustment of objects on the basis of creative intention and conception.These subjective changes reveal Emperor Huizong's aesthetic ideal and artistic pursuit,and are closely related to his environment and his own status and temperament.The characteristics of bird style in Emperor Huizong's paintings have formed individual artistic symbols to a certain extent,which are more obvious in later painters,such as leisure and disinterested mood of Qian Xuan,the proud,desolate and aloof mood of Zhuda(“eight mountain people”),the simplicity and sincerity of Qi Baishi,and so on,all of which are their inner desire and monologue.The author hopes that by researching the bird painting method of Emperor Huizong,we can have a deeper understanding of his flower-and-bird painting,so as to inspire and help ourselves to explore the artistic road of the future.
