Musical Exploration And Performance Analysis Of Brahms' G Minor Rhapsody Op.79 NO.2

Brahms was an outstanding musician in the middle period of romanticism as well as the last composer in the classical period.During his life,he created many outstanding works that have lasted up to now.In his era,Brahms kept the traditional style and absorb something new to compose brilliant music with diligence.Brahms' works express logic in music and emotions of works,not in the form of flamboyance.but more logicality in music and expression of works' emotion.Rhapsody no.2 in g minor is Brahms' s representative work in his productive period of creation.The ingenious integration of classicism and romanticism in his works highlights the characteristics of his musical creation.This paper is mainly divided into three parts.The first part mainly introduces Brahms' biography and his piano creation,as well as the genre characteristics and creation background of rhapsody in g minor,aiming to make a preliminary exploration into Brahms and rhapsody in g minor.In the second part,the author expounds on the characteristics of musical creation of the rhapsody in g minor from four aspects,so as to have a deeper understanding of this work.In the third part,the author analyzes the notable technical difficulties of performance in each part of this work based on her own performance experience.
