A Phonology Investigation And Research On The YiCheng Dialect In HuBei Province

Yicheng City is located in the northwest of Hubei Province,at the junction of the Central Plains Mandarin and the Southwestern Mandarin.It is classified into the small dialect area in northwest Hubei by "the Chinese Language Atlas".But there are certain differences in the dialects within the jurisdiction of Yicheng.This paper obtains the first-hand phonetic data of Yicheng dialect through field investigation,and describes the characteristics of the phonology of Yicheng and Liuhou.And then,Comparing the current Yicheng dialect speech system with "Guang Yun" to sort out the evolution of Yicheng dialect.The phonetic features of Yicheng and the surrounding dialects are compared,and the 20 language features of Yicheng dialect are summarized.The weighted proportions of these features are processed to summarize the close relationship between the Yicheng dialect and the relatives of the surrounding dialects.According to the data of immigration history,the Yicheng dialect is mainly derived from the Central Plains Mandarin in the north,and the voice characteristics of the mixed dialect have gone through four stages.The phonetic similarity between the current Yicheng dialect and the southwestern Mandarin is higher than that of the Central Plains Mandarin.The Liuhou dialect is closer to the Chengyu Section,and it is classified into the southwestern Mandarin dialect.The Yicheng dialect is classified into the small dialect area in northwest Hubei.This article has five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly discusses the significance of the topic,the research status and research methods,and introduces the geography,historical evolution and humanities of the city and the survey.The second part is the voice system of Yicheng dialect.It describes the rhythm and harmony of Yicheng and Liuhou,summarizes the phonetic phenomenon of Yicheng dialect,and analyzes the phonetic features of the special voice phenomenon vibrato of Yicheng dialect.The third part is the historical evolution of the voice of Yicheng dialect.The voice of Yicheng dialect is compared with "Guang Yun" to discuss the historical evolution of its voice.The fourth part is the comparison between the Yicheng dialect and the surrounding dialects.It compares the Yicheng dialect,Chenyun Section(Jingmen,Chengdu,Wuhan),the small dialect area in northwest Hube(Xiangyang),the Xinbeng Section(Xinyang),Nanlu Section(Nanyang)and Zhengkai Section(Zhengzhou)to summarize the phonetic features of Yicheng and Liuhou.Combined with the history of Hubei immigrants,the four stages of the formation of Yicheng dialects and the attribution of Yicheng and Liubao dialects were discussed.The fifth part is the conclusion,summarizing the main points of the full text.
