Vocabulary,as the building material of language,plays an important role in the second language.Students' mastery of new words directly determines their language application ability.The English annotation of new words is an important basis for foreign students to learn.The English definition of new words in HSK standard course has some bright spots,but its problems become increasingly prominent in the teaching process.At present,the academic research on English definition mainly focuses on lexicography and interpretation methods.Therefore,this paper takes the English definition of new words in HSK standard course(volumes 1,2 and 3)as the research object,studies the problems in the definition and analyzes the solutions.This paper has five chapters,as follows:The first chapter is the introduction.First of all,this chapter introduces interpretation and English interpretation for the current academic research situation.I set the quertionnaire aiming at Bangkok Rachada high school Chinese class is "standard of HSK tutorial"(vol.1,2,3)the new words in English interpretation whether there is a problem and whether it will affect the students' judgment correctly.Secondly,this chapter also briefly introduces the investigation,research methods,research materials and research objects.The second chapter is the interpretation study of HSK standard course.This chapter mainly explains the advantages and ways of interpretation.The third chapter is the interpretation analysis of HSK standard course.This chapter analyzes from two aspects: trauma and internal injury.The trauma of "HSK course" mainly refers to typesetting and printing,difficult interpretation and omission of words in the general list of words.The internal defects of HSK standard course mainly refer to the problems such as the same meaning of the translation,wrong labeling of parts of speech,unrestricted collocation of the translated words,inconsistency between the meaning and the text,unsystematic homonym and unclear definition,etc.The fourth chapter explores the countermeasures.This chapter probes into the countermeasures from three aspects: semantics,pragmatics and grammar.The semantic aspect includes avoiding the homology at the source(paying attention to the homology basic words,the homology nature state words,the homology abstract thing words),narrowing the scope by using the context(using syntactic relations,using antonym to limit the semantics).The pragmatic aspect mainly includes paying attention to the horizontal combination relation and collocation scope and paying attention to cultural differences.In terms of grammar,part of speech tagging should be interpreted with the text.Chapter five is the conclusion.This chapter mainly carries on the summary to the full text conclusion.
