background,focus on the daily life of the bottom and middle class of the urban society under the consumption trend of thought.He seizes the characteristics of the urban people in the consumer commercial society.It reveals one's deep concern about the city and people.Taking the material writing of Qiu Huadong's urban novel as the research object,this paper attempts to analyze the external and internal landscape of the city,the materialized figures and the spiritual concern of the writers.Through careful reading of the text,this paper deeply explores the potential discourse contained in the external and internal landscape of the city with obvious modernized characteristics and luxury,and analyses the materialized urbanites.The living state,spiritual state and emotional state of Qiu Huadong further explore the aesthetic interest of Qiu Huadong in material writing,excavate the causes of aesthetic interest,and interpret the author's personal reflection and Prospect of urban development,hoping to make some supplements to the study of Qiu Huadong's urban novel.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,this paper is divided into three chapters.The specific contents are as follows:The introduction explains the definition of metropolis,the concept of metropolitan fiction,the development of metropolitan fiction,outlines the life of Qiu Huadong,and outlines the current
