The Application Of Planar Language In Image Oil Painting

The planarity of painting is always throughout the history of art.Whether in the primitive art period or the Renaissance period,it is not difficult to find the existence of planarity in paintings with three-dimensional pursuit.It was not until the emergence of modern art that the planar structure was stripped out again.The reason why the planar language can be widely used in the modern school of painting is that it can provide a broader creative demand and emotional expression space for oil painting artists.Diversified aesthetic experience not only expands the territory of modern oil painting creation,but also satisfies the resonance of visual spirit.Under this kind of tide,the Chinese artist naturally also treads on the wave.They pay more attention to how to combine a pure western painting language with Chinese traditional cultural spirit and transform it into a personalized language that is not bound by reality.In the process of localization of Chinese oil painting,many schools of art have been derived,and their styles are quite different.There are different opinions on the debate of image oil painting.The author only discusses image oil painting from the perspective of personal creation.This paper holds that image oil painting is a way to localize expressionism by using the spirit of Chinese traditional culture,among which part of planar language is the feature of image expression.Painting language,which is moving towards planar,controls painting skills and forms of expression in modernist painting.Plane language plays an important role in modern oil painting,especially image oil painting.More importantly,after the art of oil painting entered the modernist context,three-dimensional space gradually turned to virtual space.Art is not equal to imitation,but more inclined to the return of the language of plane in modern painting,which is undoubtedly a key for oil painting to find the essence of art after opening the door of modern painting.
