EEG Data Acquisition And Calculation Analysis Of The Effect Of Guqin Music On Emotional Changes

Modern people were often affected by negative emotions such as anxiety and depression because of life stress.Some studies had found that listening to appropriate music can alleviate these emotions to a certain extent.Guqin music,as one of the representatives of Chinese traditional culture,has the characteristics of gentle and peaceful.The purpose of this paper was to verify that Guqin music can promote emotional peace,and alleviate negative emotions such as anxiety and depression,and explored the difference of soothing effect of Guqin music with different emotional styles.The research method used in this paper is to carry out the cognitive experiment of Guqin music,and then analyze the emotional changes before and after listening to Guqin music.Through the analysis of the emotional scales,it was found that listening to Guqin music can effectively alleviate the negative emotions of the subjects,especially the happy Guqin music.In this paper,we used power spectral density,maximum Lyapunov index,approximate entropy,Lemper-Ziv complexity,K-step chaotic intensity and Brain network analysis methods to analyze EEG data.The results showed that listening to Guqin music can reduce the overall level of alpha and beta wave energy in the brain,increase the theta wave energy in the forehead,and significantly reduce the nonlinear eigenvalues and enhance the small-world characteristics of the brain network.These results proved that Guqin music has the effect of alleviating negative emotions.In addition,silence also has such effect,but the duration is shorter.
