In the academic world,the study on blanking is usually seen in the fields of art,literature and architecture,in the films and videos,the study on blanking is little,however,in the author's view,as an ideographic means,blanking exists in the films and videos both at home and abroad and it can't be neglected,therefore,the study on blanking is of great necessity.As for the discussion of the art of film blanking,nowadays,there are scholars who have studied on it,although most of them pay attention to the analysis of how to use blanking in films and videos,they don't give clear definition to film blanking,while in the process of interpreting their study results,the author feels deeply enlightened.In the paper,the author analyzes and draws on the experience of the research results of the predecessors and makes deep,comprehensive and systemic study on the origin,connotation,multidimensional rendering and aesthetic experience aspects of the art of film blanking by adjusting the methods of interdisciplinary,observational and text analysis and from the multidimensional perspectives of vision,auditory sense and mentality.The paper mainly includes the following five chapters,the first chapter is the introduction part.In this part,the author mainly studies the five parts which are the reason,the significance,the aim the research method and the innovation point of the subject.In the part of the reason of subject selection,the author mainly explains some unsolved questions of film blanking and the positive significance of film blanking,aiming to arouse the readers' attention of the significance of the study on this subject.The aims of the subject are to up with a clear definition of film blanking,to make systemic and comprehensive discussion on its value in the films and videos both at home and abroad,and to explore the positive significance of film blanking in the double-communication between films works and the audience.In the second chapter,the author explains that blanking is the unique phenomenon of Chinese arts,the concept of blanking is being continuously breakthrough due to its aesthetic origin,its visual origin and its emotional origin,as well as the mingle and innovation of the artistic culture in the world.In the fields such as modern architecture,modern painting,drama,filming works,ad designing and costume designing and so on,blanking is endowed completely new definition.In thischapter,by taking painting,literature and film as the representatives,the author explains the development and change as well as the literature review of the concept of blanking in detail.The third chapter mainly analyzes the connotation of film blanking,which includes the redefinition of the concept of film blanking and its identity function.In the paper,film blanking is a kind of audience contract in nature,it is the premise and condition made by the director,but it is not definitely explained in a further way,besides,the amount of its information is reduced,so the audience can only transform,make up,image and make further considerations according to the information they get.Nevertheless,in the contract,film blanking takes on the responsibility of the seizure of information,the creation of images and the creation of artistic conception,it not only endows film works with misty beauty,but also it arouses the audience's aesthetic positivity.The fourth chapter mainly discusses about how film blanking is expressed in the narrative strategies of films.In the paper,film blanking is not completely nothing,it is not directly expressed.Directors always express the matters that are not narrated in the narrative blanks in various kinds of ways,so blanking is existed in multidimensional perspectives.As for the artistic expressions of the narrative strategies of film blanking,the author divides them into the following three perspectives,which are vision,auditory sense and its narrative mentality,the author tries to break up the audience's light acknowledgement of film blanking by applying three-dimensional perspective,and reestablishes a comprehensive and systemic film blanking view.The fifth chapter mainly explores the terminate goal of film blanking in artistic works,which is to arouse the audience's aesthetic experience and to satisfy their spiritual pleasant.In this chapter,first of all,the author makes analysis on the relevance between the psychological filing mechanism caused by film blanking and the western Gestalt Psychology.Secondly,it is about the one-to-one mapping between the three theories,which are isomorphism,Gestalt pressure,insight thinking and the three functions of film blanking,which are the creation of images,the seizure of information and the creation of artistic conception,and then the author explains the multiple aesthetic experience produced by the combined action after the combination of them.
