The Semantic Analysis And The Cultural Explanation Of "Xu" And The Words Of It

"Xu" is a very important concept of the Chinese traditional cultural category.Firstly.The paper approaches from the perspective of semantics and conducts comparatively comprehensive semantics analysis on the morpheme "Xu" and compounding words involving the above-mentioned morpheme.Then.We take Lao Zi,Zhuang Zi,Lie Zi as the texts of study to analyse the deep connotation of "Xu".Furthermore."Xu" has important impact on the Chinese traditional literature and art.Lastly,this paper focuses on investigating Vietnamese students' learning situation of College of overseas education of Fujian Normal University,and classifying their mistakes,finding out the problems,providing the suggestions.We hope to provide references for teachers of Chinese as a foreign language in teaching "Xu".
