The Semantic Analysis And The Cultural Explanation Of "Zhi"

In the traditional Chinese culture,the concept of "Zhi" includes abundant cultural connotations,its related thoughts not only symbolizes the precious spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation,but also affects the moral practice of people to a great extent.This paper first examines the semantics of "Zhi",and then analyzes the deep connotation of Confucius and Mencius' "Zhi" and its contemporary inheritance,last is focus on investigate the Thai students'learning situation,and classify their mistakes,find out the problems,provide the suggestions.It is expected to provide reference for teachers of Chinese as a foreign language in explaining the word"Zhi".
