Study On The Tomb Of Liao Dynasty In The Yiwulv Mountain Area

The Yiwulv Mountain area is an important distribution area of the Touxiajun State of the Khitan aristocracy in Liao Dynasty and the seat of the Imperial Tombs,it has a unique geographical location and a high political status.The Liao Dynasty tomb discovered in this area is an important material for studying the social,political,economic and cultural life of the Liao Dynasty.This paper analyzes and studies the Liao tombs in the Yiwulv Mountain area from the characteristics of tombs,divisions and stages,funeral customs and funerary objects.According to the shape of the tombs,this paper divides it into the Khitan noble family cemetery area and the emperor burial area.According to the tomb building materials,it is divided into three kinds of tombs,they are brick tombs,stone tombs and one kind of brick and stone mixed tombs.According to the shape of the main tomb,the shape is divided into "type" and then the "subtype" is divided according to the number of tombs.According to the age of the epitaph,the shape of the tombs,the characteristics of typical funerary objects,funeral customs,and tomb decoration,it is divided into three phases: early,middle and late,and the decoration and structural changes of the tombs in different periods are discussed.According to the relevant records of "Liao History·Geography",combined with the epitaph and the funerary objects and funeral customs with national characteristics,it is found that almost all of the Liao tombs in the area are the tombs of Khitan,and the ethnic groups constitute a single.And analyze the burial custom of the Khitan people in different periods in the early,middle and late days.According to the analysis of the characteristics of the burial species in different periods in the early,middle and late period,it is found that the Khitan tombs in the area gradually developed from the early Khitan burial objects to the late Khitan style,and the Chinese style has remarkable features,it shows the Sinicization process of the Khitan nationality in this area.
