Interpretation Of The Works Of Documentary Craftsmen Around

Nowadays,with the rapid development of the technology,various fabrication methods were proposed.The new technology promotes the increase of the national economy,making our life more convenient.However,there are still some ordinary people who stick to the mission of protecting and inheriting intangible cultural heritage during this new time.It is their persistence and efforts that make the intangible cultural heritage pass down generation by generation with constant innovation.It is obvious that the “Craftsmen Around Us” showed an ordinary group around us named craftsmen.Though they are always ignored by us,they all possess their own stunts.They express their enthusiasm on the family talents by their own ways,making great contributions to the protection and development of the intangible cultural heritage.Three craftsmen were recorded in this documentary.They were the urban blacksmith Hong-Ming Tian who has been struggling for many years in difficulties,the papercutting artist Jing-Xin Xu who was corresponded to the old saying “indigo blue is from indigo plant but is bluer than the plant itself” and the rope craftsman Min Gao who inherited the family handicraft under the busy working pressure,respectively.This article is an interpretation of the documentary “The Craftsman around us”,which includes four parts.The first part explains the relationship between the curriculum and the creation from two aspects,which are curriculum learning and creation and the combination of theory and practice.The second part gives a detailed introduction to the content structure,the theme and the idea of the work.For the content,the entire structure of the work is explained by introducing the handicraft of the three craftsmen and recording their events.For the theme,the author uses the old saying to start a topic,which is thought-provoking,making the viewers respect the cultural heritage and the craftsmen unconsciously.The idea of this documentary is showed by the combination of the realistic recording and the subjective performance.The third part is the technical presentation of the documentary,including the pre-shooting skills,post-editing skills,background music,commentaries,dubbing,the entire packaging and structure of the film.The fourth part is the value and reflection of the work.The existence meaning of this work is explained through the artistic value and social value.The author has made a reflection after considering the shortcomings of the shooting plan and production,avoiding making the same mistakes in the future.
