The Qin Cemetery of Xinfeng in Lintong is a graveyard which excavated the largest number of Qin tombs at a time in Guanzhong Area.It's also the first large-scale excavation of Qin tombs in the east of Guanzhong Area.The research object of this paper is the Qin Cemetery of Xinfeng in Lintong.The paper makes the typological analysis of the typical artifacts,divides the cemetery into four periods according to the evolution and coexistence relationships of the typical artifacts and determines the ages of each period.On this basis,the forming process of the cemetery is discussed.There are five chapters in this paper.Chapter One: IntroductionIntroduce the excavation and research status;illustrate the dissertation reasons,research purposes and research methods.Chapter Two: The typological analysis of typical potteriesStudy the typology of typical daily potteries and imitated-copper ritual potteries,clarify the evolvement rules of each kind of pottery.Chapter Three: The periodization and chronology of the cemeteryAccording to the typological analysis results of typical potteries,combined with the evolution and coexistence relationships of typical potteries in tombs,the tombs with daily potteries and the tombs with imitated-copper ritual potteries are divided into different groups.By contrasting the different groups,the pottery tombs are divided into four periods.On this basis,determine the period of the tombs with ritual bronzes which also contain potteries.Then determine the period of the tombs only with ritual bronzes.Finally,divide the whole cemetery into four periods and confirm the chronology of each period.Chapter Four: The forming process of the cemeteryAccording to the tombs' status of each of the four periods,discuss the formingprocess of the cemetery and the changes of people and culture.Chapter Five: ConclusionSummarize the main research findings and state the limitations and shortcomings of this paper.
