Through examining the Chinese teaching practices and the investigation of Lotte Glory Properties(Shenyang)Co.,Ltd,this paper analyzes the characteristics and Chinese learning needs of the special teaching objects,i.e.,the middle managers who work in the company.Also,the paper analyzes the problems existing in the Chinese teaching practices,and summarizes the applicable teaching modes and methods.With the teaching design cases,shows the specific teaching steps in practice.At last,reflects on the teaching practice,and offers advice for teaching the Chinese language to adult incumbents of foreign-invested companies in China.This article consists of six chapters,the content is summarized as follows:The first chapter is a review of the research.The review is divided into two parts.Part one is an overview of the research results of Chinese teaching in multinational enterprises in China.Part two is a summary of the related literature on Chinese teaching in foreign companies.The second chapter addresses the teaching status and problems of Lotte Glory Properties.It expounds the basic situation of Chinese teaching in the company and the common problems of the students.The third chapter analyzes the characteristics and Chinese learning needs of the students.Through questionnaires and other research methods,the paper summarizes the thinking characteristics,learning needs and training preferences of the students.The fourth chapter introduces the teaching mode.First,it investigates the teaching mode of parallel classes.Based on the research and analysis of the previous chapter,it summarizes the applicable teaching mode,which is a combination of the step-ladder-type,topic-based-type,and service-type teaching mode.The fifth chapter is the case study of teaching design.Two courses from both an oral textbooks and business-Chinese textbook are selected as typical classroom teaching cases to show specific teaching methods.The sixth chapter reflects on the Chinese teaching practice from the perspective of the company,the university,the teacher,the teaching material,and the students.From these reflections some suggestions are put forward for Chinese teaching in foreign-funded enterprises in China.
