Jia Zhangke,as the member of the "sixth generation" directors,has the unique aesthetic perspective.He takes his hometown as the starting point and keeps going out and returning.The film always adheres to the documentary aesthetics,aiming at its hometown,recording the living conditions of the bottom marginal characters,deducing the local customs and feelings of its hometown in its unique way of "seeing",and realizing the aesthetic expression of nostalgia Utopia.After that,Jia Zhangke slowly transformed in his creation,expressing his feelings more directly and frankly,showing the aesthetic side of violence,enhancing the story and drama of the film,and adding modern elements,focusing on the presentation of heterotopic space.Jia Zhangke pays close attention to the current real society and writes about the modern people's thoughts and emotional world in the contemporary context.With his own personal experience,he presents us the joys and sorrows of the little people in the process of modernization in China since the reform and opening up.In the first chapter,the aesthetic characteristics of Jia Zhangke's films are explained,mainly from the pursuit of documentary aesthetics,adherence to the bottom narrative and aesthetic expression of nostalgic utopia.In the second chapter,the aesthetic transformation of Jia Zhangke's films is discussed from the perspective of violence aesthetics.The third chapter discusses the aesthetic value of Jia Zhangke's films from three aspects:the writing of Chinese experience,the expression of Chinese aesthetic modernity and the aesthetic pursuit of artistic commercialization.Jia Zhangke records the people and characters of Shanxi counties through his personal experience,describes the difficult situation of the underprivileged in the changes of the times,tells Chinese stories with localization and Chinese experience,reflects on the themes of aesthetic modernity such as alienation of people's real life and spiritual world in contemporary context,and combines with commerce on the premise of adhering to the pursuit of film art and aesthetics to form his own independence.The unique way of film aesthetics.
