Cultural prosperity is the standard to measure the level of social and economic development.In the middle and late Ming Dynasty,with the recovery and development of social economy,the process of silver monetization was accelerated,and the daily life transaction was gradually convenient.In particular,the commodity economy in the south of the Yangtze River has developed rapidly,a large number of emerging towns have attracted farmers,handicrafts and industrialists have moved here,and the demand for spiritual culture is increasing day by the rapidly rising civic class.The prosperity of imperial examination and the development of grass-roots education not only improve people's literacy rate,but also provide the possibility of aesthetic literacy for art consumption.This article takes the art as the center to carry on the research,from the consumption angle of view,aims at the river in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.The problems in the consumption of art in the south are discussed.The content of the article is divided into four parts.The first part counts the types of artworks in the Jiangnan market in the middle and late Ming Dynasty,and lists the categories of art consumption such as paintings,stones,and utensils,and describes them.The second part analyzes the main body of art consumption and explores the way art trades.According to the statistics of art trade records,the factors affecting the price of each art are analyzed.The third part discusses the impact of national policies,social changes,product supply and market expansion on art consumption.The fourth part analyzes the new characteristics of art consumption,and analyzes the changes in the process of art consumption by analyzing the diversification of consumer aesthetics,the art of communicative consumption,the appreciation of consumer specialization and the marketization of investment consultants.Social life,interpersonal relationships and style.This paper reconsiders the economic life of Jiangnan society in Ming Dynasty through the specific situation of art consumption,and on this basis,discusses the social changes in Jiangnan area in the middle and late Ming Dynasty.
