The minority documentary has undergone a long period of development,and finally gradually entered the public's field of vision.The humanities,history and social values of the documentary have also been unanimously recognized by the academic community.In the 1990 s,the "new record movement" was launched in China,and a number of outstanding national documentaries,"The Last Mountain God","Dragon Ridge","God Deer,Our Deer" and other representative works appeared.His works focus on the expression of documentary aesthetics,pay attention to humanistic care,and the creators focus more on ethnic areas and begin to explore the natural and cultural life of ethnic minorities.These works have also won numerous honors in the world.The minority documentaries have become a tool for group cognition and expression,and have become an important part of the development of Chinese documentaries.The author selected the minority documentary as the research object precisely because of the influence of the documentary style of this period,and longing to create an image work that can deeply express the voice of the people in the ethnic areas.The thesis combines the graduation documentary work "Nomadic in the Grassland" to explain the author's understanding and cognition of minority documentaries from four aspects.The introduction is divided into four parts.The first section defines the concept of minority documentary,which is convenient for the academic research in the later period.The second section elaborates on the purpose and significance of the research.In the third section,through the search and reading of relevant literature reviews,the author studies the theoretical research and theoretical analysis of the minority documentaries.The fourth section combines the specific research methods to summarize the innovation and practical significance of the thesis.At the beginning of the thesis,the paper elaborated on the production environment and creative features of the documentary from the perspective of the development history of minority documentaries.Taking the reform and opening up as the time node,this paper discusses the function and value of the national theme documentary in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China,and the characteristics and humanistic connotations of the minority documentaries after 1978.In the main part of the thesis,after deep into the environment in which the subject is located,the author began to write the chapter on the image expression of the minority regional documentary ethnic regional culture,from the "observation" record in the reproduction space,the new era.The humanistic appeals of the herdsmen,the analysis of Mongolian nomadic cultural symbols,and the image expression under the national identity sense the spatial form and humanistic appeals,national symbols and identity of Mongolian nomads.Starting from the graduation work,it is more practical to explore the expression of minority documentary creation.At the end of the thesis,the author starts from the dilemma of the creation of minority documentaries,and summarizes the problems and shortcomings that are easy to appear in the filming of the documentary.In combination with the dilemmas encountered in the current creation,the subject selection,narrative means,and narrative The field of vision puts forward the direction and countermeasures that should be grasped when creating minority documentaries,and then makes a more in-depth study and analysis on the creative expression of documentaries,and contributes
