| The establishment of regional cultural image is based on the individuality of regional culture.Due to historical and geographical factors,many unique regional cultures have been formed in China,such as Jingchu culture,Yanzhao culture,Bashu culture and Central Plains culture.These individualized regional cultures influence people's mode of production,attitude towards life,values and cultural character in the region.Folklore culture,which is born in people's daily life is an important part of this regional culture,which conveys the typical and individual cultural image of the region.In the era of mass media,documentary films are effective carriers for shaping and spreading regional cultural images,especially folklore documentary film,but few people have researched at this point.This article establishes the Beijing folklore documentary film as the sample of research,first of all,because Beijing is an area of long history and rich folklore resources.These are the characteristics of many regions,but they are far inferior to Beijing in shaping their individual regional cultural image.Secondly,most of Beijing's folklore documentary films are produced by CCTV and Beijing Satellite TV,which can be used for reference in shaping and spreading regional cultural images.Firstly,the paper sums up the image of Beijing regional culture shaped and spread in Beijing folklore documentary film from three perspectives by case analysis: the image of the ancient capital full of poetic and homeliness,the image of the aristocratic and politicized imperial capital,and the image of the city which has experienced loss and reconstruction in the process of modernization.The purpose of summarizing the regional cultural image created in Beijing folklore documentary films is to sort out the significance of shaping the regional cultural image in the folklore documentary film.First and foremost,the significance lies in arousing the fractured historical memory through typical images.Secondly,folklore documentary film can satisfy the imagination of "the other place" across regions and promote them to recognize,understand,identify and even rebuild their impression of this region.And the subjects in it can find their own cultural identity through the typical cultural image created by folklore documentary film,thus enhancing the sense of group identity and cohesion.At the same time,it also provides a channel of viewing in the mirror,which is conducive to the re-understanding of the subject itself.Moreover,the image of people is an important part of the regional cultural image.When the folklore documentary film presents the regional cultural image,it must involve the description of the spirit and mood of the regional groups.Typical regional cultural images can reveal the most profound and essential connotation and cultural feature in this region.In addition,from the perspective of mass media era,this paper explores the strategies of shaping regional cultural image in folklore documentary film.When displaying a unique regional folk culture and typical cultural image through folklore documentary film,the creator focuses on selecting typical cultural symbols,narrates from different angles,and uses popular audio-visual language style to arouse audience's interest.However,many regions still have many problems in spreading their image through folklore documentary film,such as theme as priority,hollow form,merely blindly in pursuit of the fantastic image wonder,etc.In the end,the article reflects on these problems and puts forward targeted strategies.This is also the research significance of the article,that is,to sum up some experience for the creation of folklore documentary film in other regions.For example,in the process of filming and creation,it should expand the scope of materials,strengthen the interaction between perspectives of subject and object,eliminate the expression of "monophonic channel",encourage independent creation,highlight the individuality of folklore documentary film,develop unique regional cultural images,etc. |
