Objective: This study attempted to analyze the influence factors of high school students' personality trait and resilience.To explore the effects of childhood trauma on high school students' personality and resilience and the relationship between personality trait and resilience in high school students with childhood trauma experience or not.It would provide the theoretical basis for high school students' psychological health education,childhood family education and school education.Methods: The study investigated 550 high school students from two high schools in WUHU city.At last,473 valid questionnaires were collected,in which there were 166 with childhood trauma experience.The questionnaires included:(1)Basic Questionnaire;(2)Childhood Trauma Questionnaire;(3)Five-Factor Personality Scale for Middle School Students;(4)Resilience Scale for Chinese Adolescent.Software Epidata3.1 and SPSS18.0 were used for data analysis and processingResults:(1)Some factors of high school students' personality trait and resilience are different in grade,gender,only-child or not,class cadre or not,father's education level.High school students' personality trait and resilience are not different in mother's education level.(2)There exits significant differences in agreeableness,conscientiousness and neuroticism of personality trait in high school students with childhood trauma experience or not(P<0.05,P<0.01).There exits significant differences in the total score and each factor score of resilience(P<0.001).(3) Childhood trauma is dominated by one trauma(12.1%)and two trauma(13.1%),and emotional neglect(21.1%)and physical neglect(24.3%)are the majority.(4)There exits significant differences in agreeableness,openness and neuroticism of personality trait in high school students with different trauma experiences(P<0.05,P<0.01).There exits significant differences in family support factor of resilience(P<0.05).(5)In the non-traumatic group,extraversion,agreeableness,conscientiousness and openness are significantly positively correlated with resilience(P<0.001).There is a significant positive correlation between extraversion,agreeableness and conscientiousness and resilience in the group with traumatic experience(P<0.05,P<0.001).Neuroticism is negatively correlated with resilience.Neuroticism,agreeableness,conscientiousness and extraversion have predictive effects on the resilience of high school students without childhood traumatic experience,and both conscientiousness and neuroticism have predictive effects on the resilience of high school students with childhood traumatic experience.Conclusion:(1)Childhood trauma experience has significant influence on personality trait and resilience in high school students.And the more the childhood trauma experience is,the more detrimental it is to the cultivation of healthy personality and the development of resilience.(2)The more the childhood trauma experience,the worse the agreeableness and openness of positive personality,and the more neuroticism of negative personality.The less the childhood trauma experience,the better family support in resilience.(3)Neuroticism,agreeableness,conscientiousness and extraversion in personality traits directly affect resilience of high school students without childhood trauma.Conscientiousness and neuroticism directly affect resilience of high school students with traumatic childhood experiences.
