School sense of community of high school students as some psychological feelings and emotions, which is important to the physical and mental development of students.Good school sense of community could promotes students to deal with all kinds of problems and reverses more effectively in school learning and life,could further the good development of resilience. Personality traits are the internal and stable factors of individual development.And there have been some researches that confirmed the effects of big five personality on the school sense of community and resilience sperately. In view of this, this study explored the mediating effects of the sense of school community on the relationship between Big Five personality traits and resilience in the high school students. At the same time,we tested the condition of the big five personality traits the school sense of community and resilience of high school students.This conclusion could provide reference for school mental health and the development of Social Psychology.In this study,we use the method of questionnaire measuring 348 high school students with China Big Five Personality Questionnaire Short Version(CBF-PI-B) edited by Mengcheng Wang et al.and the Classroom and School Community Inventory(CSCI)amended by Rovai et al.and the Resilience Scale for Chinese Adolescent(RSCA) edited by Yiqun Gan et al..We draw the following conclusions:(1) The dimensions of big five personality traits, the school sense of community and resilience of high school students have demographic differences. Neuroticism and Agreeablenessof high school boys are lower than girls,and Openness is significantly higher than girls. In the Conscientiousness dimension, there is a significant difference between the students of the former 1/3 and the post 1/3. For the Conscientiousness trait, it exists significantly difference between scores ranked after 1/3 respectively with the former 1/3 and middle 1/3. In the school sense of community and its sub-dimensions, resilience and its dimensions of aim focus and help-seeking are significantly different between the students of the former 1/3 and the post 1/3.(2) Big Five personality, the school sense of community and resilience are significantly related to each other. Neuroticism is negatively related to the sense of school community and resilience.(3) Through the path analysis,we find that the school sense of community of high school students plays the mediating role on the relationship between Neuroticism to resilience, Extraversion to resilience, and Agreeableness to resilience, Extraversion to resilience.(4) The result of multiple group analysis based on path analysis is that Neuroticism of former 1/3 students is more sensitive to the school sense of community. Conscientiousness of middle 1/3 is more sensitive to resilience.(5)Conclusion: The educational workers should adopt different teaching mehods and guidance measures according to the high school students' s grade achievement ranking and personality. In high school education, the educators should help the students to improve their own personality characteristics, and further development of the school sense of community and then improve the level of resilience of students,and ultimately realizes good results of the physical and mental development of students.
