Rock-color painting creation “Hemudu Culture” is deemed as the starter of historical timeline sorting among the topics of “fine arts creation engineering under the historical theme of Chinese civilization” and “Chinese epic and fine arts exhibition”.It is believed that the Hemudu culture having about 7000 years' history features abundant material heritages and significant research value and it is considered to be the common spiritual,material and cultural wealth of the human.Speaking of the topic of “Hemudu Culture”,the study and exploration was systematically and comprehensively carried out by taking rock-color painting creation teaching practice as the subject from many aspects such as Hemudu cultural spirit,rock-color painting materials and techniques,which provided important reference template for rock-color painting teaching and significant historical theme creation practice in the future and could help us have profound understandings about the origin and connotations of the Chinese civilization culture.Meanwhile,as the important form and display window of rock-color painting expansion teaching model of China Academy of Art,it also had profound cultural significance and practice value.The development strategy integrating industry-university-research cooperation was adopted for rock-color painting of China Academy of Art.The rock-color painting teaching is realized by driving the painting creation through the practice of the subject research projects.Then,the skills and methods for it were formed and one prospective step was taken.In consequence,the perfect experimental teaching system was gradually built by beginning with many perspectives including material science,painting techniques and contemporary rock-color painting creation.
