| Each of the varies historical cohort in calligraphy history experienced the change of Magnificence and Plain;therefore,the discussion on Magnificence and Plain in the appreciation of calligraphy and calligraphy creation were always on going.There are four chapters in this research which mainly focus on discuss the thesis related to the combination of Magnificence and Plain.Starts from the provenance of the Magnificence and Plain,this research talks a-bout the application of the concept in Traditional Culture,Literature and Aesthetic field.Chapter three is the keystone of this research,which take representative artist Shu Wang and Shiru Deng as example,compared and analyzed the growth environment,calligraphy ideology and calligraphic practice of each person.Through the research,the author notice that Shiru Deng made a bold change after the preresearch by combine Magnificence elements on the base of Plain,which developed to his own unique artistic style.Shiru Deng’s style has great influence and it still acts as a critical reference in modern calligraphic practice. |
