Research On Digitalized Protection And Virtual Display Technology For Shiwan Ceramics Art

Foshan Shiwan ceramics has a long history since the late stone period with thousands of years' experiences and is still on the contemporary history stage.Its uniqueness has made it stable in the Lingnan district,famous across China even the whole world.It is human beings intellectual developing production recording people's life to some degree and being a symbolic in history.But it faces with serious challenge for a living,because it is affected by the bad environment and all kinds of human behaviors.There are v arious damage on it such as air-slake,corrosion,color faded and incompletion etc.,which make us think actively about how to protect them well to let more people know its charm.Since the situation above,we must take some scientific action to well prote ct the digitalized information for the later generations.The digitalized technology offers advanced technical support for protection,which is of great significance in historic preservation.The digitalized technology has also offered resources for recovery,appreciation,academic study,information development and sharing of historic preservation,which has great significance to the overall protection of historic preservation in its width,depth,and accuracy of cultural inheritance.The thesis uses digitalized technology to protect Shiwan ceramics and analyzes Shiwan ceramics protection and development to make contributions to the ceramics protection and scientific research area.This thesis analyzes the Shiwan ceramics culture;did real site research,searched and collected many domestic and overseas related document literatures on digitalized historic preservation and summarizes and complete so as to get a suitable digitalized historic preservation protection plan for Shiwan ceramics protection.In this research,the author first analyzes the art features,art value and characteristics.Only when he knows the object well,the meaning of the protection,the surface material features and the shape of the ceramics,can he take better protection actions.Secondly,according to the feature of complex shapes,bright surface and strong light reflection feature of the ceramics,he uses 3D shape re-construction technical methods.Thirdly,based on the colorful surface of the ceramics,he uses HDR digitalized image technique to reflect the surface texture information of the ceramics.Finally,he introduces various ways to display the digitalized preservation to spread,use and study the preservation digitalized information.The result from above study shows that the digitalized protection methods on Shiwan ceramics is easily shortcut,low-cost and easily operate.There are many cases of digitalized techniques for historic protection,but few are particular for Shiwan ceramics,which makes this research an effective technical sample for the digitalized protection later.
