Research On The Origin Of The Word "huangce" In Ancient China

The "Huangce" is an important basis for verifying the population and collecting taxation in ancient Chinese feudal society.It was first seen in the Song Dynasty literature,not recorded in the Yuan Dynasty,and prevailed during the Ming Dynasty.The word "Huangce" consists of two morphemes: "Huang" and "Ce".Among them,"Huang" means the meaning of color or population,and "Ce" means the meaning of the book.The term "Huangce" is usually used to refer to "Huji" registration books,and it has a strong specificity.It is an important "Huji" registration document noun in ancient China.This thesis explores the origin of the "Huangce" through the method of measurement linguistics,combines the structural attributes of the "Huangce" and the documentary records,and quantitatively analyzes the development and evolution of the word "Huangce".This graduation thesis mainly uses the Chinese Knowledge Network's authoritative database "Guo Xue Bao Dian" updated in December 2018 as the source of statistical data.A total of 4903 historical documents were retrieved.Because this thesis studies the document nouns of the “Huji registration” category,it is necessary to first search all the household registration document nouns from the Qin Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty(before 1840 AD).In addition,the author comprehensively analyzes the meaning and function data of each "Huji" registration document noun,and makes judgments one by one,and finally determines that the word "Huangce" is one of the most influential document nouns in ancient Chinese household registration files,and selects It is a representative of the "Huji" document nouns and conducts a typical study.The full text of this paper is divided into three parts,In terms of research methods,first of all,from the perspective of linguistics,this thesis uses the definition of lexical semantics to study the two monosyllabic morphemes "Huang" and "Ce" one by one,and to analyze their origin,the evolution of fonts,the richness and application of meanings,etc.Then analyze the "Huangce" to form the social and political background,economic development,language and culture environment and population management methods at that time,and thenexplores how the word "Huang" and "Ce" in the document noun "Huangce" are combined.Secondly,the statistical data is retrieved by means of bibliometrics.The database of "Guo Xue Bao Dian" Collection is used as the data source.The word noun type of the word "Huangce" is judged from the richness and combination of the meaning of the word,and the "Huangce" is analyzed.The origin,meaning and application of the word determine the evolutionary status of the document noun "Huangce" in the "Huji" document nouns,and its important historical influence on the use of other "Huji" document nouns in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.In the end,the macroscopic analysis of the development of the "Huji" document nouns is carried out in a summary,and the generation and application frequency of the "Huji" document nouns are summarized.Based on the above-mentioned specific research and analysis of the term "Huangce",the summary is summarized.The origin of the word "Huangce" itself evolves and evolves,and summarizes the reasons for its importance in the "Huji" document nouns,and evaluates its important role in the historical period and its overall impact on document nouns.
