A Study On "Zhenxin" " Shili" And "Baofeng" Are Used As Degree Adverbs

The degree category is an important part of human cognition.In modern Chinese,the grammatical means of degree are mainly degree adverbs.We have noticed that the degree adverbs are constantly being updated and evolved,and a large number of new forms are emerging.Especially in the network language,people tend to use and create new language forms to express the degree of meaning.The research object of this paper is the two-syllable nouns,which are reduced to degree adverbszhenxin(??),shili(??),and baofeng(??).They have developed the use of degree adverbs,and the semantics and functions have been blurred.The ambiguity of the real words has always been the focus of linguistics.This paper intends to explore the source of the degree meaning of these"new"word on the basis of previous studies-combing the evolution of semantics;which step is now progressing-investing the combination of the adjectives and verbs,and the syntactic function;why it can act as a degree adverbthe mechanism behind the analysis;To a more comprehensive understanding of these emerging language phenomena.In addition to the introduction and conclusion,the full text is divided into four chapters,the contents are as follows:The first chapter describes and characterizes the new usage of the research object,although the "zhenxin","shili" and "baofeng" have the same syntactic function and meaning characteristics as the degree adverbs,they are low and have not yet become a special mark indicating the amount of the degree.Therefore,they are judged as quasi-degree adverbs.Second,examine their composition.The second chapter analyzes the path and conditions of the "zhenxin","shili" and "baofeng".The noun "zhenxin" was originally used as the object and subject.It began to be adverbial in the Sui and Tang Dynasties,and then it became the most important grammatical function.In modern Chinese,"zhenxin" can be used to express the degree;"shili" first appeared in the Wei and Jin Dynasties,and period in Tang and Song.By the time of the Qing Dynasty,"shili" was further expanded,basically starting from the phrase to solidify into a word.In modern Chinese,"shili" is used as an adverb to modify a verb,which means that the way and condition of the action.In the network language,the scope of use of "strength" is further expanded,which can be used to modify psychological verbs and adjectives,and the semantics are more blurred,showing a clear degree meaning;The path of blurring of "baofeng" is relatively simple,and its blurring is from "baofeng shi X",then the simplified form "baofeng + VP" popular.In the network language,the semantics are further blurred,and the degree of meaning is developed.The reasons for their ambiguity are mainly manifested in two aspects: First,they can all enter the position,which provides a legal syntactic position to be used as degree adverb.The third chapter examines the syntactic and pragmatic features."zhenxin X" "shili X" and "baofeng X",these structures are mainly used as predicates and attributives in sentences.Different from the general structure,these structures are usually used as clauses alone.Their pragmatic features are mainly reflected in two aspects: First,the rich expression,because the "zhenxin","shili" and "baofeng" are not completely blurred,retaining some of the meaning of the noun words,so the emotions is more specific and rich.The second is to promote the diversity of the expression of degree.Although "zhenxin","shili" and "baofeng" are not typical members of degree adverbs,they compensate for the limitation of the degree of adverbs of degree to some extent,and provide more forms of expression for people.The fourth chapter examines the motivation of the adverbs of "shili","zhenxin" and "baofeng" from three aspects: language,society and cognition.The motivations within the language are manifested in two aspects: First,the common degree adverbs are used in the long-term use,resulting in a decline in verbal ability,and the new form of language expression is needed to supplement.Second,because these nouns have the advantage of language memes.Social factors are unprecedentedly open cultural attitudes and self-media's support.Cognitive factors are manifested in the deepening of people's cognition and the pursuit of new and different cognitive psychology.The last part is the conclusion.Combine the main conclusions of this paper and describe the shortcomings and prospects of the article.
