Research On Modern Illustration Design Based On Ancient Myths And Stories

Ancient myths are type of primitive culture created by ancient ancestors during the actual production and life,covering ecological civilization and religious folk,and many other categories,conceiving not only the origin of human civilization,also forecasting the future of mankind,and at the same time entrusting the desire of the people for a better life,which have the enlightenment and educational significance to the development of the society and the progress of mankind.To some extent,the presentation of mythological themes in modern illustrations reflects the importance attached to traditional culture and deepens modern people's understanding of national history.Due to the existing historical materials about ancient culture lack of practical written records,the creation of illustrations and research theories about ancient myths are relatively scarce.This article,based on the collected relevant books and theoretical works,traces the origin of the ancient culture,defines the concept of ancient mythology,analyzes the connotation meaning of fairy tales,studies the evolution of the traditional illustration art to modern illustration design,researches illustration works of ancient myth theme from various perspectives,interprets the containing national spirit and artistic language,compares the current development situation and existing problems of modern illustration design at home and broad,and explores the blending methods of different culture under the background of global integration.Combining with practical experience,blending the aesthetic concept of traditional Chinese painting into the design and creation of modem illustration of ancient mythology,enriching the expressive forms of modern illustration design,expanding the design thinking,enhancing its influence in the illustration market,and at the same time,with the aid of modern digital drawing technology,optimizing the visual effect of illustration,the subject and content are expressed more perfectly,and some beneficial attempts are made to promote the development of modern illustration design on the basis of the inheriting Chinese traditional culture.
