A Study On The Performance Of Illustrations On The Theme Of Ancient Chinese Mythology

The ancient Chinese mythology carries the subjective imagination and spiritual creation of the ancient people towards the origin of the world.These imaginative stories provide rich cultural support for illustration creation.As a local ethnic art in China,the magnificent and exciting ancient mythology undoubtedly has a huge and vast space for artistic expression,providing an inexhaustible source of illustration creation content in today’s diverse era context.This paper mainly analyzes the three performance factors of character image expression,scene construction,and screen form in the illustrations of ancient Chinese mythology themes.The aesthetic uniqueness reflected by these expressive factors collectively constitute the mysterious,bizarre,and bizarre visual characteristics of the theme illustration.This gives it a somewhat surreal and romantic label.By analyzing the unconventional construction methods and common techniques for setting off the atmosphere in illustration works through case studies,we aim to explore the mythological artistic charm that these expressions collectively reflect.Reflecting on and looking forward to the field of ancient mythological illustration creation in recent years,summarizing some problems in the expression methods of this theme illustration,and exploring the possibility of integrating this type of theme with traditional painting factors,in order to enrich and continue to enrich the diversity and artistry of the expression language of illustration images.Finally,incorporating the research and analysis viewpoints from the text into illustration creation.Through the research of this paper,it is hoped to provide more perspectives and extended inspiration for the creation of illustrations related to mythological themes.Through research in this direction,it can be found that illustration,as a contemporary interpretation of the content of ancient Chinese mythology,not only enriches the exploration of visual form and aesthetics in illustration,but also has longterm significance for inheriting the essence of ancient traditional culture.
