| Although the number of students who learning Chinese in Morocco is growing,Chinese teaching in Morocco is still in its infancy.In addition to the children’s class,all Chinese primary classes use the "New Practical Chinese Textbook 1",and there is no distinction between Chinese electives classes and interest classes.But it has not been confirmed whether this textbook is applicable to Morocco.Based on this idea,we find that the applicability of New Practical Chinese Reader 1 in Morocco is not good enough by understanding the needs of the students and combined with the suggestions of the teacher.Moroccan students prefer modern and practical content.At the same time,they also have their own unique problems and needs.Based on these analyses,we propose that the selection of a textbook that is highly applicable to Morocco should be considered from the following points.In terms of speech,the second sound,final “e” and the practice of distinguishing intonation are significant in textbook,and there is a long duration of transition from the Pinyin to the Chinese character.In terms of vocabulary,the textbook considered the frequency of daily use.In the case of different parts of speech,the examples is clearly separated so that the students can distinguish them,and the vocabulary of each lesson is more than thirty-four.In terms of grammar,we need consider if the textbook set the grammar that is practiced clearly.In terms of topic,the topic selection is more inclined to daily life and work.In terms of practice,the rules of communicative practice in practice are clear,and the mechanical practice can be changed by the teacher to the competition mode.The amount of exercise increases with the course progresses.In terms of the culture,there are many contents about modern culture.In terms of the Chinese characters,there are systematic explanations and practices on Chinese characters and so on.In addition,because most of the Chinese teacher in Morocco is volunteer teacher,we hope that Chinese textbook in Morocco can reflect the teaching process to help teachers to teach,which also helps Moroccan students to learn Chinese.Among these suggestions,we should pay attention to the five points that may be different from other countries: First,the textbooks reflect the teaching process.Second,the vocabulary number is more than thirty-four.Third,there is rich cultural content,especially modern culture.Fourth,the textbook is systematically explain Chinese characters.Fifth,the textbook mechanical exercises can be set by the teacher to the competition mode. |
