This paper selects The Developing Chinese(Elementary Comprehensive)and The Our Chinese Classroom(Elementary Course).The former one is usually used as a foreign language teaching material in many collages and universities now,while the latter one uaually in many Chinese traning institutions.This article based on the complement project of “The HSK Level Standards and Grammar Level”(JiaYiJi)requirements,contarsts and analyses the complement types,complement garmmar points,the frequency of repetition,the recurrence interval and exercise design.There is a conclusion that,in terms of the types,“The developing Chinese(Elementary Comprehensive)” more in line with “The HSK Level Standards and Grammar Level”(JiaYiJi)requirements;in terms of the grammar points,“The Our Chinese Classroom(Elementary Course)” more in line with “The HSK Level Standards and Grammar Level”(JiaYiJi)requirements;in terms of exercise design,The Developing Chinese(Elementary Comprehensive)more reasonable and diversified.In terms of the frequency of repetition and the recurrence interval,here are two tasks accomplished.The first one is counting;the second one is comparing and analysing.According to the analysis of the textbooks,they have some drawbacks.Therefore,the last part makes some suggestions.We hope it can provide some reference for the teaching material compilation.
