The research object of this paper is Development of Chinese?second edition? elementary textbooks and the paper has analyzed the topic and genre compatibility of the textbooks with textbooks and the textbooks inside. The textbooks with textbooks is divided into textbooks overall and textbooks each stage.The statistical analysis method of this paper, as follows.To contrast the difference between the proportion of each topic and genre with the given level. Then conculude the actual score of all the types of the topic and genre. Compared with the total score draws the scoring rate of this comparison. To judge the eventually compatibility degree of this comparison according to the rate. The statistical method can be simplified into several step as follows,?1?A-B=X?2?S???L???3?S??1+S??2+S??3+……=Sn???4?Sn??÷Sn??=Y?5?L??In terms of topic compatibility, the selection of textbook is the Elementary Comprehensive Course,Elementary Listening Course and Elementary Speaking Course of Developing Chinese?2nd edition?textbook, a total of 6.Through 30 group comparisons?the textbooks inside 3 textbooks with textbooks 27?, the paper concluded that the mean value of the textbooks inside, textbooks with textbooks overall and textbooks with textbooks each stage are 83.33%,81.5%,68.07%.The paper found that topic compatibility of the textbooks inside is better than the textbooks with textbooks generally, and textbooks overall is generally better than the stages. In the 30 group comparisons the best one is the Elementary Speaking Course ??overall reading and speaking comparison, its score rate is 95% which means best compatibility. While the worst one is third stage between Elementary Comprehensive Course ?and Elementary Listening Course ?,the score rate is 52.5% which means not compatibility.In terms of genre compatibility, the selection of textbook is the Elementary Comprehensive Course,Elementary Reading and Writing Course of Developing Chinese?2nd edition?textbook,a total of 4.Through 25 group comparisons of the textbooks?the textbooks inside 4 textbooks with textbooks 21?, the paper concluded that the mean value of the textbooks inside, textbooks with textbooks overall and textbooks with textbooks each stage are 65%,45%,49.71%.The paper found that genre compatibility of the textbooks inside is better than the textbooks with textbooks generally and except internal reading and writing of Elementary Reading and Writing Course?, the fourth stage of reading between Elementary Comprehensive Course? and Elementary Reading and Writing Course?, the genre compatibility of the remaining 23 group comparisons have failed to meet the basic standard, the score rate below 70%.Overall, in Developing Chinese?2nd edition?elementary textbooks,the topic compatibility is better than the genre compatibility. For the problems existing in the compatibility of topic and genre in Developing Chinese?2nd edition?elementary textbooks, this paper analysed the causes of them and gave the corresponding suggestions.
