A Research On The Chinese Learning Strategies Of Thai Students From CMRU

In the “chinese fever” background,Thailand have paid more attention to promote Chinese language teaching.But in the current situation,Thai student's learning efficiency is not very high.For example,many Thai students have learning Chinese for several years,but their level of Chinese is still very low.As everybody knows,the learning efficiency can be influenced by the learners' learning methods and learning strategies.In vies of this situation,this paper selects Thai students from CMRM(Chiang Mai Rajabhat University)as research group to investigate.The full text is divided into six chapters:Chapter one is Introduction.This part introduces the research reasons,research purposes and significance,research methods,research ideas and research summary,and puts forward the problems to be solved.The second chapter introduces the backgrounds of the Thai students,including their Chinese levels,their learning times and their sexuality.The third chapter summarizes and analyzes the result of the research.According to the result,we investigate and assemble their basic information about the use of Chinese learning strategies.We find that Thai students use Chinese language learning strategies occasionally but not using it frequently.Besides,we also find that there are some differences in the use of Chinese learning strategies about two different Chines major students.The fourth chapter selects a case study on the part of the Thai students.We interview some Thai students in order to find their similarities and differences about the use of the Chinese language learning strategies.The fifth chapter is conclusions.The conclusions based on the results of the research,put forward suggestions not only for Thai students who are studying Chinese,but also for the teachers who are teaching Chinese in Thailand.The sixth chapter put forward some advantages and disadvantages of thepaper,and we are looking forward the future research about this region.
