Research On The Polarization Of Network Groups:The Effect Of Anonymity And Different Emotional Types Of Events

The polarization of network group is a cross-disciplinary research field.It is based on the concept of psychology in the soil of communication.At the same time,it is cultivated by multi-disciplinary methods such as e-government and information science.The method of research should be carried out in a multi-faceted consideration and synthesis.This study combines the predecessor's research paradigm and examines the degree of polarization of the network group by selecting attitudes to the actual situational events.It mainly includes three experiments: Experiment 1 is a single factor experiment,and studies the influence of the degree of anonymity on the polarization of the network group.Experiment 2 is a single factor experiment,which studies the difference of network group polarization in different emotion type events;Experiment 3 is 3(anonymity: full real name,semi-anonymous,completely anonymous)× 2(emotional event type: positive emotion The mixed experiment of negative emotions comprehensively examined the joint influence of the degree of anonymity and the events of different emotion types on the polarization of the network group.The main conclusions of the experiment are:1.Anonymity has an impact on the polarization of the network group.The higher the degree of anonymity,the higher the degree of polarization of the group.2.The degree of polarization of events generated by different emotion types in the network context is different.Negative emotional events in the network context are more likely to cause group polarization than positive emotion events.3.In the network environment,the degree of anonymity interacts with the emotion type event,which affects the polarization of the network group.In the anonymous state,the negative emotion event can cause the group polarization phenomenon more than the positive emotion event.
