A Study On Kant's Thought Of Moral Feeling

Kant's critical philosophy opens up the field of moral philosophy as his metaphysics by limiting knowledge.In this newly created field of freedom,people legislate for themselves,and it is in the process of acting in accordance with moral laws that people show their smallness in front of the lofty moral laws,and a feeling of respect arises spontaneously,which Kant calls the only moral feeling.Moral feeling has both moral and emotional sides.It lies between this shore and the other shore,between noumenon and phenomenon.The morality in the moral feeling is come from the moral law.After "Copernican revolution",the moral law was established in the field of freedom.As finite rational being,human beings are influenced by sensibility,love and desire while they are rational.Moral law will not consciously become human standard,but admired by people.When standards become moral laws,a sense of respect will denies all emotions,and it is in this process of negation that the dignity of moral law is defended.Respect is the motive of practical reason,which is the only intellectual feeling that people really sense.When we put moral emotion into the whole system of Kant,it is not hard to see that the process in which the imagination,which has the function of the synthesis and unification,acts on the miscellaneous perceptual things and converts them into ideas is the process in which the feeling of respect appears spontaneously.A sense of common ground which has the function of coordination runs through the progress of the generation of respect and the progress in which respect and emotion fight with each other.Respect can be effectively demonstrated in pure reason,and it is realistic.More than that,through a deeper grasp of moral feeling,we can strip out the essence of the thought of man himself and his duty.These contents remain an effective way to solve contemporary moral dilemmas.It is in effort that people approaches the absolute reason.People constantly break through their own limitations to achieve human dignity and value,Kant's thought of moral feeling has eternal bright value and realistic guiding significance for the whole mankind.
