"A Guide To the Bodhisattva Way of Life "(Guide to Bodhi)is a classic work of the Madhyamaka.The book focuses on the study of the Mahayana Road in the Bodhicitta and the foundation.Its Chinese version was translated by Tianxizai in Song Dynasty,but Lvcheng judged it “there were many mistakes.” At present,there are Sanskrit to Chinese version translated by Huang Baosheng and another four Tibetan to Chinese versions by Shi Rushi,Shi Longlian,dpa'ris blo bzang rgya mtsho separately.After the book was passed to Tibet,it was valued by the local masters from dynasties to dynasties.Apart from the own poems,nearly 8 annotations composed by Indian Masters.To interpret it approximately,Tibetan local monks also create many annotations.This article is an annotated translation of Rgyal tshab rje 's commentary on the“Buddha way"."The first chapter Bodhicitta merits and benefits" start from the valuable body,and it should lead to Bodhicitta."Second chapter Confession" continues to teach the preparations for the heart,and needs to first ritual,repair and support,convert,and then repent of many bad deeds in the past,and elaborate on the law of repentance."The third chapter Accpet Bodhicitta" declares that after confession,one first practiced with the accumulation of good fortune and then officially received Bodhicitta.This article is to interpret the first three articles of the Tibetan text Jia Zhuan," the True Way of the Buddha",and at the same time,according to the Long Lian translation,Huang Baosheng,the Han Han,and Kan,translate and organize these three products into a modern and easy-to-understand vernacular.The first chapter of this paper introduces the origin of the topic and the related research on the Chinese translation of the " A Guide To the Bodhisattva Way Of Life ".The second chapter focuses on the spread of Sanskrit and Tibetan version,and describes the circumstance of the two vesions and the details on "Buddha way" and the profile of Santtideva and Rgyal tshab rje.The third chapter is the text of the translation and annotation.The author will translate the first three chapters of the "Buddha way" in the vernacular Chinese.The translation is mainly based on literal translation,mixed with free translation,supplemented by complements and transformed words,and is intended to preserve the original meaning and to make the statement unobstructed.Finally,the fourth chapter analyze the Rgyal tshab rje 's annotation and give some comments.
