The Research On The Impact Of Social Support And Network Social Adaptations On Chinese Students In Australia

At present,Australia has already been one of the three major countries for overseas studies.As an upsurge in studying abroad,it is increasingly popular for Chinese students to attend Australia universities.However,it has been frequently reported on the accidental death of the foreign students or the suicide of the international students and their dropouts in recent years,thus,more and more researchers have focused on the study of overseas social adaptation and social support for international students.As the Internet and the artificial intelligence technology penetrate every corner of the world,more people can also deploy technology to search information.The Internet has been changing many aspects of many international students’ daily lives.This study mainly introduced the quantitative and qualitative research of Chinese students from X University of Australia,and discussed the social adaptation problems and network social support of international students in Australia.The results from the investigation indicate that the adaptability of the international students to Australia are generally considered as poor,mainly acted in cultural adaptation,psychological adaptation and interpersonal adaptation.At present,those students’ social support mainly depended on communicating online with parents and previous peers.To this end,it is necessary to enhance the social adaptability of international students studying in Australia from multiple dimensions.Specifically,it is to optimize the recognition of foreign students’ cultural adaptation level,improve the resilience of foreign students’ psychological level and improve the interpersonal communication of international students to solve the dilemma.At the same time,it is essential to adapt to the new situation of technological change.With the support of the network society,they could select the role of social workers,and carry out field ethnographic field surveys to provide more support.It also can help for the social adaptation of students studying in Australia.
