BackgroundEmotional neglect of children is more common at home and abroad, which is an important factor affecting the healthy development of children.A review of domestic and foreign studies on the influencing factors, behavioural and cognitive neuroscience of children's neglect shows that there are few studies on affective neglect in children. It is of great significance to explore the effects of different types of neglect, especially emotional neglect,on children's intelligence level, other neglect levels, and attention bias, and to study emotional cognitive processing of children with emotional neglect.Objectives1.In order to reveal the cognitive mechanism of information processing in the executive control system of neglected children, the data of children at different school levels in provinces, cities and counties were studied, such as questionnaire,Raven reasoning test, emotional Stroop task and so on,and to find out find out their emotional cognitive control process of important factors.2.This paper provides theoretical basis and empirical materials for the neglect level, intelligence level and attention bias characteristics of children with high and low emotional neglect, and also provides relevant references of the scientific intervention and education for children who have been neglected by emotion.MethodsStratified random sampling was used to select children(under 16 years old)at different school levels at provincial, municipal and county levels. The Children Neglected Scale(CNS),Raven reasoning test was used to evaluate their emotional neglect level and intelligence level. The subjects were asked to complete the emotional Stroop task.According to the order of CNS emotional neglect factor score,27%of the subjects were taken from the highest score and the lowest score respectively, and the subjects with the boundary value score were also included in the subjects.Finally,219 people were included in the low emotioanl neglect group(the emotional neglect factor was 29.77±6.61).204people were included in the high emotional neglect group(emotional neglect factor was16.57±1.24).The differences in neglect level, intelligence level, and behavioral test results were compared between the two groups, and regression analysis was performed on related factors. To explore the characteristics and mechanisms of emotional neglect in children's intelligence level, neglect factors, and emotional cognition, especially attention bias.Results1.There is no significant difference in the distribution of male and female children in the group of high emotional neglect and low emotion neglect. The chi-square test was performed on the gender and emotional neglect types. The Pearson chi-square test showed that,?~2=1.162,P>0.052.2.The scores of type A,B,C,D,E questions of Raven's standard reasoning test for children with high affective neglect were lower than those of children with low affective neglect, but there was no significant difference in the scores between the two groups(t=-1.525,-0.916?-1.794,-1.552,-1.392,P>0.05).3.There were significant differences in safety neglect factor, communication neglect factor, body neglect factor and total score of CNS between children with high affective neglect and children with low affective neglect(t=15.098,18.782,14.604,27.089,P<0.05).The scores of all the neglect factors and the total neglect scores in the high emotional neglect group were higher than those in the low emotional neglect group.4.The accuracy of positive words, negative words and neutral words in emotional stroop Color-Word Task in high emotional neglect children was lower than that in low emotional neglect group. There was a significant difference between the two groups in the correct rate of positive words(t=-2.115,P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in the correct rate of negative words and neutral words(t=-0.768,-1.356,P>0.05).5.The positive word reaction time, negative word reaction time and neutral word response time of emotional stroop color word task in high emotional neglect children were lower than those in low emotional neglect group, but there was no difference in the part of speech reaction time between the two groups(t=-1.604,-1.746,-1.149,P>0.05).6.High-emotion neglected subjects(n=204)emotional stroop task positive word response multiple linear regression analysis showed that age was related to its positive words response time(t=-2.106,P<0.05),model interpretation 10.6%(F=1.883,P=0.039);high-emotion neglected subjects(n=204),the results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that the age, type A scores were related to the reaction time of negative words(t=-2.114,-2.038,P<0.05),the model interpretation degree is 11.3%(F=2.026,P=0.024).7.Multiple linear regression analysis of positive word response time in Low-emotional neglect subjects'(n=219)emotional stroop tasks showed that, gender, age,A,B,E scores were correlated with positive words response time(t=3.497,-5.32,-2.031,-0.094,-0.09,P<0.05),and the interpretation degree of the model was 11.8%(F=8.171,P<0.05).The results of multiple linear regression showed that gender, age, type A,type C,type D scores were correlated with the were related to their negative words reaction time(t=3.137,-6.088,-3.025,-2.146,2.63,P<0.05),model interpretation 12.0%(F=8.311,P<0.05).Conclusions1.There is no difference between emotional high neglect and emotional low neglect children in gender distribution and reasoning test intelligence.2.Children's emotional neglect is accompanied by other types of neglect, such as safety neglect, communication neglect and physical neglect.3.High emotional neglect will cause children to make a difference in the treatment of positive words, which in turn affects the response of emotional cognitive behavior.Emotional high and low neglect group children don't have attention bias on positive and negative emotional words.4.Age increase is an important factor that affects the decrease of cognitive response time to positive words and negative words in children with high and low emotional neglect.Gender and intelligent reasoning level are related to the change of emotional cognitive response of children with low emotional neglect.
