Intangible cultural heritage is the root and soul of national culture,and plays a huge role in protecting cultural diversity,realizing cultural identity,and improving the soft power of national culture.However,these precious national wealthes are facing a crisis of loss in the era of rapid development because of the regionalization,marginalization,and simplification of the way of inheritance.As a kind of film and television art carrier,the documentary has its own image recording and display functions,including its authenticity,artistry and humanity.It has been the mission of spreading cultural thought since its birth,and has become an important path of the protection of intangible cultural heritage and the promotion of the spirit of traditional culture.The main purpose of the early non-legacy documentary was to record.The main function was preservation,emphasizing historical value and archival value attribute,and the artistic and infectious power was relatively weak.Thanks to the mutual understanding of cultural exchanges in the new media environment,the complexity of the audience's aesthetic appeals,and the transformation of documentary creation concepts,today's non-legacy documentaries enrich the storytelling narrative techniques in the production process,and at the same time form a "traditional documentary in parallel with storytelling narrative” current status."Story-telling" enhances the observability and appeal of documentaries through rich narrative content and specific narrative techniques.It has made the non-legacy theme that is very culturally oriented and can easily cause “boring preaching” to become “interesting”,which enriches the performance of non-legacy documentaries,makes them more in line with the current viewing habits and emotional needs of the masses,promotes the inheritance and protection of intangible cultural heritage more effectively,and at the same time realize the expansion of communication effects and dissemination values.Undoubtedly,the narrative technique of "story-telling" has become a kind of diversified creative mode,and it has become one of the commonly used narrative techniques of today's non-legacy documentaries.This paper takes the non-legacy documentary as a research sample,and discusses the related issues of storytelling narrative from four parts.First of all,the concept of non-legacy documentary and storytelling narrative is sorted out,and the generation context of domestic documentary storytelling narrative techniques is summarized through the summary of data.Focusing on the current status of the creation of non-legacy documentaries in the “pan-entertainment” environment,the problem of insufficient traditional narrative charm and insufficient quality is presented,which is characterized by serious homogenization,lack of regional characteristics and weakening of cultural depth."Story-telling" has the problem of misuse and damage to the reality.Secondly,it discusses the positive significance of the rational use of storytelling narratives to the existing problems of non-legacy documentaries.From the multi-narrative techniques to enrich the performance of non-legacy documentaries,audio-visual language mobilizes the explicit aspect of the audience's desire to see,the typical symbol triggers the regional identity,the cultural character highlights the hidden aspect of the national spiritual core,and clarifies the storytelling narrative The positive impact of the legacy documentary.Thirdly,based on the subject knowledge of TV art,film and television narratology,I use literature research method,case analysis method,combined with domestic excellent non-legacy documentary and individual graduation work "Shanzhou Memory",analyze the specific strategy of storytelling narrative,and focus on discussions from the perspective of narrative content and narrative skills.The content of the narrative is refined into the three-dimensional shape of the character image,which is analyzed from the role of the "circle" main character interpretation and "confrontation".The content of the story emphasizes sensationalism,requiring the plot to be constructed with emotion as the axis,and the detail expression to be small and big.Finally,starting from the specific narrative techniques such as suspense setting,scene reappearance,editing art,and sound painting modeling,this paper further analyzes how the storytelling narrative is made,and clarifies that the storytelling makes the non-legacy documentary more artistic and ornamental.
