Study Of Clearing Up-country In Nantong Area During The War Of Resistance Against Japan

The clear movement was a fascistic colonial rule activity,which happened on the occupied middle of China during the War of Resistance Against Japan.Some reasons caused this activity.On the one hand,it was a result of Japanese policy,which called“rule China by Chinese,continue war by war”;on the other hand,the Wang regime wanted to increase its controlling force by the activity.From April 1943 to October1944,the clear movement that happened in Nantong was an expansion of the activity that happened in southern Jiangsu.Also it was related to the importance of Nantong's strategic position.Nantong experienced military clearing up-country,political clearing up-country,deferred clearing up-country and altitudinal clearing up-country.The clear movement brought serious disaster to the local people.At the same time,it caused the people's resisting.The Communist Party of China led the local anti-Japanese military and civilians against the activity.Finally,the clear movement which carried out by Japan and Wang regime failed.It was a success of the against fighting which led by the Communist Party of China.Also,it was a special reflection of Japan and Wang regime's internal contradiction.
