Zhao Zhiqian Learns Weibei's Book Style

By analyzing and studying Zhao Zhiqian's calligraphy works in the early,middle and late periods,this paper sums up the characteristics before and after the change of calligraphy style,analyses the causes of the change of calligraphy style and the calligraphy thoughts in different periods,summarizes the new thinking embodied in the change of calligraphy style and the achievements made in the change of calligraphy style,and achieves the effect of inspiring and guiding the current calligraphers to expand their new thinking of calligraphy and create a new style of calligraphy.This article mainly uses the methods of Comparative study,Iconology study and Field investigation to make a thorough and comprehensive academic analysis;finally combs out the growth process and contributing factors of his calligraphy thought,such as from worship to inhibit the plaque to respect the tablet to establish the stele theory;and summarizes his innovative thinking and achievements in calligraphy practice,such as understanding the Wei stele writing method by copying the knife,and putting it into practice.Integrate into all styles,complete the integration of four-body calligraphy,and extend to the integration of stone calligraphy and painting,to achieve the unity of artistic style.Therefore,Zhao improved the calligraphy technique system of the stele school,expanded the thought of the stele School of the Qing Dynasty,and formed a unique style of calligraphy,which made him an artist of the "Four Greats" in the real sense of poetry,calligraphy,painting and printing in the middle and late Qing Dynasty.
