A Contrastive Study On The Quantitative Expressions In Modern Chinese And Korean

Chinese is "S?V+O�language,while Korean is "S+O+V" language.There are many differences in word order.But they all belong to quantifier language.Traditionally,classifiers and plural markers are mutually exclusive.Therefore,there are no plural markers in classifiers' langua2ges and no classifiers in plural markers' languages.But Chinese and Korean are exceptions.They have not only abundant quantifiers,but also plural markers "men" and "Deul".This phenomenon makes it easy for scholars who study the quantitative expression of Han and Korean to make mistakes.Based on the quantitative phrases and plural markers in Chinese and Korean,this paper compares the constituent elements of various forms,namely nouns,numerals,quantifiers,plural "men" and "Deul" and explores the similarities and differences between Chinese and Korean and related issues.This paper mainly includes the following five parts.In chapter One,Introduction.This paper briefly introduces the system of numerals and the classification of quantitative phrases in Chinese and Korean,as well as the research methods and significance.In chapter Two,the countability study of Chinese and Korean nouns.Including "every","Mada" and noun modification,the collocation of plural markers "men" and "deul",and "mimeral�modification of "noun".In chapter Three,the definition and classification of quantifier system in Chinese and Korean.In chapter Four.Classification and Research of Quantitative Phrases in Chinese and Korean.In chapter Five,conclusion.The concluding part summarizes the research,and then states the research results of this paper.
