The Research Of Numeral-restricted “Numeral+Classifier+Noun”in Modern Chinese

In modern Chinese,numeral and classifier are two kinds of special words,the specials lie in that numeral and quantifier are seldom used alone,they are frequently used together in the form of "numeral + classifier",and this form often used in front of noun to compose the construction "numeral+classifier+noun".There is a kind of particular "numeral+classifier+noun" structure that the numeral are restricted,and researchers have paid more and more attention on it.On the base of the previous studying and combining description and explanation,this paper aims to analyze the numeral-restricted "numeral+classifier+noun" structure in order to obtain the cause of numeral-restricted,and to have a detailed understanding of the structure of syntactic functions, semantic features. This thesis includes six main parts.Part one:General introduction.Firstly,we reviewed some relevant research about numeral-restricted "numeral+classifier+noun" structure,and explain the reasons of this paper.Then,we defined the scope of the study.And at last we simply introduced the source of materials in this thesis and pointed out the research ideas and methods.Part two:The two-way choice between numeral and noun in the numeral-restricted "numeral+classifier+noun" structure.We try to find out the cause of numeral-restricted based on full analysis of the corpus.We mainly analyzed in three aspects:the classifier limit numeral;the noun limit numeral; the collocation of classifier and noun limit numeral.Part three: The syntactic function of numeral-restricted "numeral+classifier+noun" structure.We have introduced two types.One is in the phrase structure the numeral is not restricted,when in the sentence as syntactic component the numeral is restricted,the other is no matter in the phrase or sentence the numeral is always restricted.Part four:The semantic feature of numeral-restricted "numeral+classifier+noun" structure.After carefully analyze of the corpus, we got the numeral has referential righteousness,the classifier has fuzzy righteousness,the noun has abstract righteousness space righteousness and unbounded righteousness.Part five:The expressive function of numeral-restricted "numeral+classifier+noun" structure.According to our research,we summarized it into three aspects:exaggerated color image color and metaphor color.Part six:In this part,we have summarized the article and pointed out the not related questions and unsolved problems.
